At MK18, we are proud to provide a minor surgery service.  We are able to remove various lumps and bumps including epidermal cysts, lipomata (fatty lumps), skin tags and other lesions.  Lesions are sent for histology to ensure that the clinical diagnosis matches the actual diagnosis which ensures patient safety.   Patients are required to book a minor surgery assessment where the lesion is assessed to ensure that it is appropriate for GP surgery.  If treatment is appropriate, then the procedure is explained.  If you are happy to proceed then you will be booked onto a minor surgery list.
